Surah Al-Tawba, Ayah 62 (9:62)
يَحۡلِفُوۡنَ بِاللّٰهِ لَـكُمۡ لِيُرۡضُوۡكُمۡۚ وَاللّٰهُ وَرَسُوۡلُهٗۤ اَحَقُّ اَنۡ يُّرۡضُوۡهُ اِنۡ كَانُوۡا مُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ ٦٢
English translation (Pickthall)
They swear by Allah to you (Muslims) to please you, but Allah, with His messenger, hath more right that they should please Him if they are believers.

يَحۡلِفُوۡنَ بِاللّٰهِ لَـكُمۡ لِيُرۡضُوۡكُمۡۚ وَاللّٰهُ وَرَسُوۡلُهٗۤ اَحَقُّ اَنۡ يُّرۡضُوۡهُ اِنۡ كَانُوۡا مُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ ٦٢
9:62They swear by Allah to you (Muslims) to please you, but Allah, with His messenger, hath more right that they should please Him if they are believers.
اَلَمۡ يَعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّهٗ مَنۡ يُّحَادِدِ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوۡلَهٗ فَاَنَّ لَهٗ نَارَ جَهَـنَّمَ خَالِدًا فِيۡهَاؕ ذٰ لِكَ الۡخِزۡىُ الۡعَظِيۡمُ ٦٣
9:63Know they not that whoso opposeth Allah and His messenger, his portion verily is hell, to abide therein? That is the extreme abasement.
يَحۡذَرُ الۡمُنٰفِقُوۡنَ اَنۡ تُنَزَّلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُوۡرَةٌ تُنَبِّئُهُمۡ بِمَا فِىۡ قُلُوۡبِهِمۡؕ قُلِ اسۡتَهۡزِءُوۡاۚ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ مُخۡرِجٌ مَّا تَحۡذَرُوۡنَ ٦٤
9:64The hypocrites fear lest a surah should be revealed concerning them, proclaiming what is in their hearts. Say: Scoff (your fill)! Lo! Allah is disclosing what ye fear.
وَلَٮِٕنۡ سَاَلۡتَهُمۡ لَيَـقُوۡلُنَّ اِنَّمَا كُنَّا نَخُوۡضُ وَنَلۡعَبُؕ قُلۡ اَبِاللّٰهِ وَاٰيٰتِهٖ وَرَسُوۡلِهٖ كُنۡتُمۡ تَسۡتَهۡزِءُوۡنَ ٦٥
9:65And if thou ask them (O Muhammad) they will say: We did but talk and jest. Say: Was it at Allah and His revelations and His messenger that ye did scoff?
لَا تَعۡتَذِرُوۡا قَدۡ كَفَرۡتُمۡ بَعۡدَ اِيۡمَانِكُمۡؕ اِنۡ نَّـعۡفُ عَنۡ طَآٮِٕفَةٍ مِّنۡكُمۡ نُـعَذِّبۡ طَآٮِٕفَةًۢ بِاَنَّهُمۡ كَانُوۡا مُجۡرِمِيۡنَ ٦٦
9:66Make no excuse. Ye have disbelieved after your (confession of) belief. If We forgive a party of you, a party of you We shall punish because they have been guilty.
اَلۡمُنٰفِقُوۡنَ وَالۡمُنٰفِقٰتُ بَعۡضُهُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡضٍۘ يَاۡمُرُوۡنَ بِالۡمُنۡكَرِ وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ الۡمَعۡرُوۡفِ وَيَقۡبِضُوۡنَ اَيۡدِيَهُمۡؕ نَسُوا اللّٰهَ فَنَسِيَهُمۡؕ اِنَّ الۡمُنٰفِقِيۡنَ هُمُ الۡفٰسِقُوۡنَ ٦٧
9:67The hypocrites, both men and women, proceed one from another. They enjoin the wrong, and they forbid the right, and they withhold their hands (from spending for the cause of Allah). They forget Allah, so He hath forgotten them. Lo! the hypocrites, they are the transgressors.
وَعَدَ اللّٰهُ الۡمُنٰفِقِيۡنَ وَالۡمُنٰفِقٰتِ وَالۡـكُفَّارَ نَارَ جَهَـنَّمَ خٰلِدِيۡنَ فِيۡهَاؕ هِىَ حَسۡبُهُمۡۚ وَلَـعَنَهُمُ اللّٰهُۚ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيۡمٌۙ ٦٨
9:68Allah promiseth the hypocrites, both men and women, and the disbelievers fire of hell for their abode. It will suffice them. Allah curseth them, and theirs is lasting torment.
