Surah Al-Mutaffifin, Ayah 22 (83:22)
اِنَّ الۡاَبۡرَارَ لَفِىۡ نَعِيۡمٍۙ ٢٢
English translation (Pickthall)
Lo! the righteous verily are in delight,

الَّذِيۡنَ يُكَذِّبُوۡنَ بِيَوۡمِ الدِّيۡنِؕ ١١
83:11Those who deny the Day of Judgment
وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهٖۤ اِلَّا كُلُّ مُعۡتَدٍ اَثِيۡمٍۙ ١٢
83:12Which none denieth save each criminal transgressor,
اِذَا تُتۡلٰى عَلَيۡهِ اٰيٰتُنَا قَالَ اَسَاطِيۡرُ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَؕ ١٣
83:13Who, when Our revelations are recited unto him, saith: (Mere) fables of the men of old.
كَلَّا بَلۡ رَانَ عَلٰى قُلُوۡبِهِمۡ مَّا كَانُوۡا يَكۡسِبُوۡنَ ١٤
83:14Nay, but that which they have earned is rust upon their hearts.
كَلَّاۤ اِنَّهُمۡ عَنۡ رَّبِّهِمۡ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لَّمَحۡجُوۡبُوۡنَؕ ١٥
83:15Nay, but surely on that day they will be covered from (the mercy of) their Lord.
ثُمَّ اِنَّهُمۡ لَصَالُوا الۡجَحِيۡمِؕ ١٦
83:16Then lo! they verily will burn in hell,
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هٰذَا الَّذِىۡ كُنۡتُمۡ بِهٖ تُكَذِّبُوۡنَؕ ١٧
83:17And it will be said (unto them): This is that which ye used to deny.
كَلَّاۤ اِنَّ كِتٰبَ الۡاَبۡرَارِ لَفِىۡ عِلِّيِّيۡنَؕ ١٨
83:18Nay, but the record of the righteous is in 'Illiyin -
وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا عِلِّيُّوۡنَؕ ١٩
83:19Ah, what will convey unto thee what 'Illiyin is! -
كِتٰبٌ مَّرۡقُوۡمٌۙ ٢٠
83:20A written record,
يَّشۡهَدُهُ الۡمُقَرَّبُوۡنَؕ ٢١
83:21Attested by those who are brought near (unto their Lord).
اِنَّ الۡاَبۡرَارَ لَفِىۡ نَعِيۡمٍۙ ٢٢
83:22Lo! the righteous verily are in delight,
عَلَى الۡاَرَآٮِٕكِ يَنۡظُرُوۡنَۙ ٢٣
83:23On couches, gazing,
تَعۡرِفُ فِىۡ وُجُوۡهِهِمۡ نَضۡرَةَ النَّعِيۡمِۚ ٢٤
83:24Thou wilt know in their faces the radiance of delight.
يُسۡقَوۡنَ مِنۡ رَّحِيۡقٍ مَّخۡتُوۡمٍۙ ٢٥
83:25They are given to drink of a pure wine, sealed,
خِتٰمُهٗ مِسۡكٌ ؕ وَفِىۡ ذٰ لِكَ فَلۡيَتَنَافَسِ الۡمُتَنــَافِسُوۡنَؕ ٢٦
83:26Whose seal is musk - for this let (all) those strive who strive for bliss -
وَ مِزَاجُهٗ مِنۡ تَسۡنِيۡمٍۙ ٢٧
83:27And mixed with water of Tasnim,
عَيۡنًا يَّشۡرَبُ بِهَا الۡمُقَرَّبُوۡنَؕ ٢٨
83:28A spring whence those brought near to Allah drink.
اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ اَجۡرَمُوۡا كَانُوۡا مِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا يَضۡحَكُوۡنَۖ ٢٩
83:29Lo! the guilty used to laugh at those who believed,
وَاِذَا مَرُّوۡا بِهِمۡ يَتَغَامَزُوۡنَۖ ٣٠
83:30And wink one to another when they passed them;
وَاِذَا انۡقَلَبُوۡۤا اِلٰٓى اَهۡلِهِمُ انْقَلَبُوۡا فَكِهِيۡنَۖ ٣١
83:31And when they returned to their own folk, they returned jesting;
وَاِذَا رَاَوۡهُمۡ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ لَـضَآلُّوۡنَۙ ٣٢
83:32And when they saw them they said: Lo! these have gone astray.
وَمَاۤ اُرۡسِلُوۡا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حٰفِظِيۡنَۙ ٣٣
83:33Yet they were not sent as guardians over them.
