Surah Al-Anaam, Ayah 88 (6:88)
ذٰ لِكَ هُدَى اللّٰهِ يَهۡدِىۡ بِهٖ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهٖؕ وَلَوۡ اَشۡرَكُوۡا لَحَبِطَ عَنۡهُمۡ مَّا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ٨٨
English translation (Pickthall)
Such is the guidance of Allah wherewith He guideth whom He will of His bondmen. But if they had set up (for worship) aught beside Him, (all) that they did would have been vain.

اَلَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَلَمۡ يَلۡبِسُوۡۤا اِيۡمَانَهُمۡ بِظُلۡمٍ اُولٰۤٮِٕكَ لَهُمُ الۡاَمۡنُ وَهُمۡ مُّهۡتَدُوۡنَ ٨٢
6:82Those who believe and obscure not their belief by wrongdoing, theirs is safety; and they are rightly guided.
وَتِلۡكَ حُجَّتُنَاۤ اٰتَيۡنٰهَاۤ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ عَلٰى قَوۡمِهٖؕ نَرۡفَعُ دَرَجٰتٍ مَّنۡ نَّشَآءُؕ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيۡمٌ عَلِيۡمٌ ٨٣
6:83That is Our argument. We gave it unto Abraham against his folk. We raise unto degrees of wisdom whom We will. Lo! thy Lord is Wise, Aware.
وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهٗۤ اِسۡحٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوۡبَؕ كُلًّا هَدَيۡنَاۚ وَنُوۡحًا هَدَيۡنَا مِنۡ قَبۡلُ وَمِنۡ ذُرِّيَّتِهٖ دَاوٗدَ وَسُلَيۡمٰنَ وَاَيُّوۡبَ وَيُوۡسُفَ وَمُوۡسٰى وَهٰرُوۡنَؕ وَكَذٰ لِكَ نَجۡزِى الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَۙ ٨٤
6:84And We bestowed upon him Isaac and Jacob; each of them We guided; and Noah did We guide aforetime; and of his seed (We guided) David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the good.
وَزَكَرِيَّا وَيَحۡيٰى وَعِيۡسٰى وَاِلۡيَاسَؕ كُلٌّ مِّنَ الصّٰلِحِيۡنَۙ ٨٥
6:85And Zachariah and John and Jesus and Elias. Each one (of them) was of the righteous.
وَاِسۡمٰعِيۡلَ وَالۡيَسَعَ وَيُوۡنُسَ وَلُوۡطًاؕ وَكُلًّا فَضَّلۡنَا عَلَى الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَۙ ٨٦
6:86And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah and Lot. Each one of them did We prefer above (Our) creatures,
وَمِنۡ اٰبَآٮِٕهِمۡ وَذُرِّيّٰتِهِمۡ وَاِخۡوَانِهِمۡۚ وَاجۡتَبَيۡنٰهُمۡ وَهَدَيۡنٰهُمۡ اِلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسۡتَقِيۡمٍ ٨٧
6:87With some of their forefathers and their offspring and their brethren; and We chose them and guided them unto a straight path.
ذٰ لِكَ هُدَى اللّٰهِ يَهۡدِىۡ بِهٖ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهٖؕ وَلَوۡ اَشۡرَكُوۡا لَحَبِطَ عَنۡهُمۡ مَّا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ٨٨
6:88Such is the guidance of Allah wherewith He guideth whom He will of His bondmen. But if they had set up (for worship) aught beside Him, (all) that they did would have been vain.
اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰتَيۡنٰهُمُ الۡـكِتٰبَ وَالۡحُكۡمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ ؕ فَاِنۡ يَّكۡفُرۡ بِهَا هٰٓؤُلَۤاءِ فَقَدۡ وَكَّلۡنَا بِهَا قَوۡمًا لَّيۡسُوۡا بِهَا بِكٰفِرِيۡنَ ٨٩
6:89Those are they unto whom We gave the Scripture and command and prophethood. But if these disbelieve therein, then indeed We shall entrust it to a people who will not be disbelievers therein.
اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الَّذِيۡنَ هَدَى اللّٰهُ فَبِهُدٰٮهُمُ اقۡتَدِهۡ ؕ قُلْ لَّاۤ اَسۡــَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ اَجۡرًاؕ اِنۡ هُوَ اِلَّا ذِكۡرٰى لِلۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ ٩٠
6:90Those are they whom Allah guideth, so follow their guidance. Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for it. Lo! it is naught but a Reminder to (His) creatures.
