Surah Al-Waqia, Ayah 18 (56:18)
بِاَكۡوَابٍ وَّاَبَارِيۡقَࣙۙ وَكَاۡسٍ مِّنۡ مَّعِيۡنٍۙ ١٨
English translation (Pickthall)
With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring

يَطُوۡفُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وِلۡدَانٌ مُّخَلَّدُوۡنَۙ ١٧
56:17There wait on them immortal youths
بِاَكۡوَابٍ وَّاَبَارِيۡقَࣙۙ وَكَاۡسٍ مِّنۡ مَّعِيۡنٍۙ ١٨
56:18With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring
لَّا يُصَدَّعُوۡنَ عَنۡهَا وَلَا يُنۡزِفُوۡنَۙ ١٩
56:19Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness,
وَفَاكِهَةٍ مِّمَّا يَتَخَيَّرُوۡنَۙ ٢٠
56:20And fruit that they prefer
وَلَحۡمِ طَيۡرٍ مِّمَّا يَشۡتَهُوۡنَؕ ٢١
56:21And flesh of fowls that they desire.
وَحُوۡرٌ عِيۡنٌۙ ٢٢
56:22And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes,
كَاَمۡثَالِ اللُّـؤۡلُـوٴِالۡمَكۡنُوۡنِۚ ٢٣
56:23Like unto hidden pearls,
جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ٢٤
56:24Reward for what they used to do.
لَا يَسۡمَعُوۡنَ فِيۡهَا لَغۡوًا وَّلَا تَاۡثِيۡمًاۙ ٢٥
56:25There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination
اِلَّا قِيۡلًا سَلٰمًا سَلٰمًا ٢٦
56:26(Naught) but the saying: Peace, (and again) Peace.
وَاَصۡحٰبُ الۡيَمِيۡنِࣙۙ مَاۤ اَصۡحٰبُ الۡيَمِيۡنِؕ ٢٧
56:27And those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand?
فِىۡ سِدۡرٍ مَّخۡضُوۡدٍۙ ٢٨
56:28Among thornless lote-trees
وَّطَلۡحٍ مَّنۡضُوۡدٍۙ ٢٩
56:29And clustered plantains,
وَّظِلٍّ مَّمۡدُوۡدٍۙ ٣٠
56:30And spreading shade,
وَّ مَآءٍ مَّسۡكُوۡبٍۙ ٣١
56:31And water gushing,
وَّفَاكِهَةٍ كَثِيۡرَةٍۙ ٣٢
56:32And fruit in plenty
لَّا مَقۡطُوۡعَةٍ وَّلَا مَمۡنُوۡعَةٍۙ ٣٣
56:33Neither out of reach nor yet forbidden,
وَّ فُرُشٍ مَّرۡفُوۡعَةٍؕ ٣٤
56:34And raised couches;
اِنَّاۤ اَنۡشَاۡنٰهُنَّ اِنۡشَآءًۙ ٣٥
56:35Lo! We have created them a (new) creation
فَجَعَلۡنٰهُنَّ اَبۡكَارًاۙ ٣٦
56:36And made them virgins,
عُرُبًا اَتۡرَابًاۙ ٣٧
56:37Lovers, friends,
لِّاَصۡحٰبِ الۡيَمِيۡنِؕ ٣٨
56:38For those on the right hand;
ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَۙ ٣٩
56:39A multitude of those of old
وَثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ الۡاٰخِرِيۡنَؕ ٤٠
56:40And a multitude of those of later time.
وَاَصۡحٰبُ الشِّمَالِࣙۙ مَاۤ اَصۡحٰبُ الشِّمَالِؕ ٤١
56:41And those on the left hand: What of those on the left hand?
فِىۡ سَمُوۡمٍ وَّحَمِيۡمٍۙ ٤٢
56:42In scorching wind and scalding water
وَّظِلٍّ مِّنۡ يَّحۡمُوۡمٍۙ ٤٣
56:43And shadow of black smoke,
لَّا بَارِدٍ وَّلَا كَرِيۡمٍ ٤٤
56:44Neither cool nor refreshing.
اِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوۡا قَبۡلَ ذٰ لِكَ مُتۡرَفِيۡنَۚۖ ٤٥
56:45Lo! heretofore they were effete with luxury
وَكَانُوۡا يُصِرُّوۡنَ عَلَى الۡحِنۡثِ الۡعَظِيۡمِۚ ٤٦
56:46And used to persist in the awful sin.
وَكَانُوۡا يَقُوۡلُوۡنَࣙۙ اَٮِٕذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَّعِظَامًا ءَاِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوۡثُوۡنَۙ ٤٧
56:47And they used to say: When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again,
اَوَاٰبَآؤُنَا الۡاَوَّلُوۡنَ ٤٨
56:48And also our forefathers?
قُلۡ اِنَّ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ وَالۡاٰخِرِيۡنَۙ ٤٩
56:49Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Lo! those of old and those of later time
لَمَجۡمُوۡعُوۡنَࣙۙ اِلٰى مِيۡقَاتِ يَوۡمٍ مَّعۡلُوۡمٍ ٥٠
56:50Will all be brought together to the tryst of an appointed day.
ثُمَّ اِنَّكُمۡ اَيُّهَا الضَّآلُّوۡنَ الۡمُكَذِّبُوۡنَۙ ٥١
56:51Then lo! ye, the erring, the deniers,
