Surah Ar-Rahman, Ayah 75 (55:75)

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ ۝٧٥

English translation (Pickthall)

Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

Page 535

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ۝٦٧

55:67Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

فِيۡهِمَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَّنَخۡلٌ وَّرُمَّانٌۚ ۝٦٨

55:68Wherein is fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate.

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ ۝٦٩

55:69Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

فِيۡهِنَّ خَيۡرٰتٌ حِسَانٌۚ ۝٧٠

55:70Wherein (are found) the good and beautiful -

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ ۝٧١

55:71Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? -

حُوۡرٌ مَّقۡصُوۡرٰتٌ فِى الۡخِيَامِۚ ۝٧٢

55:72Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions -

‌فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ ۝٧٣

55:73Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? -

لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ اِنۡسٌ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنٌّۚ ۝٧٤

55:74Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them -

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ ۝٧٥

55:75Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

مُتَّكِــِٕيۡنَ عَلٰى رَفۡرَفٍ خُضۡرٍ وَّعَبۡقَرِىٍّ حِسَانٍۚ ۝٧٦

55:76Reclining on green cushions and fair carpets.

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ۝٧٧

55:77Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

تَبٰـرَكَ اسۡمُ رَبِّكَ ذِى الۡجَـلٰلِ وَالۡاِكۡرَامِ ۝٧٨

55:78Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious!

اِذَا وَقَعَتِ الۡوَاقِعَةُۙ ۝١

56:1When the event befalleth -

لَيۡسَ لِـوَقۡعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌۘ ۝٢

56:2There is no denying that it will befall -

خَافِضَةٌ رَّافِعَةٌۙ ۝٣

56:3Abasing (some), exalting (others);

اِذَا رُجَّتِ الۡاَرۡضُ رَجًّاۙ ۝٤

56:4When the earth is shaken with a shock

وَّبُسَّتِ الۡجِبَالُ بَسًّاۙ ۝٥

56:5And the hills are ground to powder

فَكَانَتۡ هَبَآءً مُّنۡۢبَـثًّاۙ ۝٦

56:6So that they become a scattered dust,

وَّكُنۡـتُمۡ اَزۡوَاجًا ثَلٰـثَـةًؕ ۝٧

56:7And ye will be three kinds:

فَاَصۡحٰبُ الۡمَيۡمَنَةِࣙۙ مَاۤ اَصۡحٰبُ الۡمَيۡمَنَةِؕ ۝٨

56:8(First) those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand?

وَاَصۡحٰبُ الۡمَشۡـَٔـمَةِࣙۙ مَاۤ اَصۡحٰبُ الۡمَشۡـَٔـمَةِؕ ۝٩

56:9And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand?

وَالسّٰبِقُوۡنَ السّٰبِقُوۡنَۚۙ ۝١٠

56:10And the foremost in the race, the foremost in the race:

اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الۡمُقَرَّبُوۡنَۚ ۝١١

56:11Those are they who will be brought nigh

فِىۡ جَنّٰتِ النَّعِيۡمِ ۝١٢

56:12In gardens of delight;

ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَۙ ۝١٣

56:13A multitude of those of old

وَقَلِيۡلٌ مِّنَ الۡاٰخِرِيۡنَؕ ۝١٤

56:14And a few of those of later time.

عَلٰى سُرُرٍ مَّوۡضُوۡنَةٍۙ ۝١٥

56:15On lined couches,

مُّتَّكِـــِٕيۡنَ عَلَيۡهَا مُتَقٰبِلِيۡنَ ۝١٦

56:16Reclining therein face to face.
