Surah Ar-Rahman, Ayah 51 (55:51)

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ۝٥١

English translation (Pickthall)

Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

Page 534

فَيَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لَّا يُسۡـَٔـلُ عَنۡ ذَنۡۢبِهٖۤ اِنۡسٌ وَّلَا جَآنٌّۚ ۝٣٩

55:39On that day neither man nor jinni will be questioned of his sin.

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ۝٤٠

55:40Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

يُعۡرَفُ الۡمُجۡرِمُوۡنَ بِسِيۡمٰهُمۡ فَيُؤۡخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِىۡ وَ الۡاَقۡدَامِۚ ۝٤١

55:41The guilty will be known by their marks, and will be taken by the forelocks and the feet.

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ۝٤٢

55:42Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

هٰذِهٖ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِىۡ يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا الۡمُجۡرِمُوۡنَۘ ۝٤٣

55:43This is Hell which the guilty deny.

يَطُوۡفُوۡنَ بَيۡنَهَا وَبَيۡنَ حَمِيۡمٍ اٰنٍۚ ۝٤٤

55:44They go circling round between it and fierce, boiling water.

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ۝٤٥

55:45Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

وَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهٖ جَنَّتٰنِۚ ۝٤٦

55:46But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens.

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۙ ۝٤٧

55:47Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

ذَوَاتَاۤ اَفۡنَانٍۚ ۝٤٨

55:48Of spreading branches.

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ۝٤٩

55:49Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

فِيۡهِمَا عَيۡنٰنِ تَجۡرِيٰنِۚ ۝٥٠

55:50Wherein are two fountains flowing.

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ۝٥١

55:51Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

فِيۡهِمَا مِنۡ كُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ زَوۡجٰنِۚ ۝٥٢

55:52Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs.

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ۝٥٣

55:53Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

مُتَّكِـــِٕيۡنَ عَلٰى فُرُشٍۢ بَطَآٮِٕنُهَا مِنۡ اِسۡتَبۡرَقٍؕ وَجَنَا الۡجَـنَّتَيۡنِ دَانٍۚ ۝٥٤

55:54Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand.

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ۝٥٥

55:55Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

فِيۡهِنَّ قٰصِرٰتُ الطَّرۡفِۙ لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ اِنۡسٌ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنٌّۚ ۝٥٦

55:56Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them.

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ ۝٥٧

55:57Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

كَاَنَّهُنَّ الۡيَاقُوۡتُ وَالۡمَرۡجَانُۚ ۝٥٨

55:58(In beauty) like the jacynth and the coral-stone.

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ۝٥٩

55:59Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

هَلۡ جَزَآءُ الْاِحۡسَانِ اِلَّا الۡاِحۡسَانُۚ ۝٦٠

55:60Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness?

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ۝٦١

55:61Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

وَمِنۡ دُوۡنِهِمَا جَنَّتٰنِۚ ۝٦٢

55:62And beside them are two other gardens,

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۙ ۝٦٣

55:63Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

مُدۡهَآمَّتٰنِۚ ۝٦٤

55:64Dark green with foliage.

فَبِاَىِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ ۝٦٥

55:65Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?

فِيۡهِمَا عَيۡنٰنِ نَضَّاخَتٰنِۚ ۝٦٦

55:66Wherein are two abundant springs.
