Surah Adh-Dhariyat, Ayah 5 (51:5)
اِنَّمَا تُوۡعَدُوۡنَ لَصَادِقٌۙ ٥
English translation (Pickthall)
Lo! that wherewith ye are threatened is indeed true,

لَهُمۡ مَّا يَشَآءُوۡنَ فِيۡهَا وَلَدَيۡنَا مَزِيۡدٌ ٣٥
50:35There they have all that they desire, and there is more with Us.
وَكَمۡ اَهۡلَـكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُمۡ مِّنۡ قَرۡنٍ هُمۡ اَشَدُّ مِنۡهُمۡ بَطۡشًا فَنَقَّبُوۡا فِى الۡبِلَادِؕ هَلۡ مِنۡ مَّحِيۡصٍ ٣٦
50:36And how many a generation We destroyed before them, who were mightier than these in prowess so that they overran the lands! Had they any place of refuge (when the judgment came)?
اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰ لِكَ لَذِكۡرٰى لِمَنۡ كَانَ لَهٗ قَلۡبٌ اَوۡ اَلۡقَى السَّمۡعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيۡدٌ ٣٧
50:37Lo! therein verily is a reminder for him who hath a heart, or giveth ear with full intelligence.
وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا فِىۡ سِتَّةِ اَيَّامٍۖ وَّمَا مَسَّنَا مِنۡ لُّغُوۡبٍ ٣٨
50:38And verily We created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in six Days, and naught of weariness touched Us.
فَاصۡبِرۡ عَلٰى مَا يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ وَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ قَبۡلَ طُلُوۡعِ الشَّمۡسِ وَقَبۡلَ الۡغُرُوۡبِۚ ٣٩
50:39Therefor (O Muhammad) bear with what they say, and hymn the praise of thy Lord before the rising and before the setting of the sun;
وَمِنَ الَّيۡلِ فَسَبِّحۡهُ وَاَدۡبَارَ السُّجُوۡدِ ٤٠
50:40And in the night-time hymn His praise, and after the (prescribed) prostrations.
وَاسۡتَمِعۡ يَوۡمَ يُنَادِ الۡمُنَادِ مِنۡ مَّكَانٍ قَرِيۡبٍۙ ٤١
50:41And listen on the day when the crier crieth from a near place,
يَوۡمَ يَسۡمَعُوۡنَ الصَّيۡحَةَ بِالۡحَـقِّؕ ذٰ لِكَ يَوۡمُ الۡخُـرُوۡجِ ٤٢
50:42The day when they will hear the (Awful) Cry in truth. That is the day of coming forth (from the graves).
اِنَّا نَحۡنُ نُحۡىٖ وَنُمِيۡتُ وَاِلَيۡنَا الۡمَصِيۡرُۙ ٤٣
50:43Lo! We it is Who quicken and give death, and unto Us is the journeying.
يَوۡمَ تَشَقَّقُ الۡاَرۡضُ عَنۡهُمۡ سِرَاعًاؕ ذٰ لِكَ حَشۡرٌ عَلَيۡنَا يَسِيۡرٌ ٤٤
50:44On the day when the earth splitteth asunder from them, hastening forth (they come). That is a gathering easy for Us (to make).
نَحۡنُ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ وَمَاۤ اَنۡتَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ بِجَـبَّارٍ فَذَكِّرۡ بِالۡقُرۡاٰنِ مَنۡ يَّخَافُ وَعِيۡدِ ٤٥
50:45We are best aware of what they say, and thou (O Muhammad) art in no wise a compeller over them. But warn by the Qur'an him who feareth My threat.
وَالذّٰرِيٰتِ ذَرۡوًاۙ ١
51:1By those that winnow with a winnowing
فَالۡحٰمِلٰتِ وِقۡرًاۙ ٢
51:2And those that bear the burden (of the rain)
فَالۡجٰرِيٰتِ يُسۡرًاۙ ٣
51:3And those that glide with ease (upon the sea)
فَالۡمُقَسِّمٰتِ اَمۡرًاۙ ٤
51:4And those who distribute (blessings) by command,
اِنَّمَا تُوۡعَدُوۡنَ لَصَادِقٌۙ ٥
51:5Lo! that wherewith ye are threatened is indeed true,
وَّ اِنَّ الدِّيۡنَ لَوَاقِعٌؕ ٦
51:6And lo! the judgment will indeed befall.
