Surah As-Saaffat, Ayah 19 (37:19)
فَاِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجۡرَةٌ وَّاحِدَةٌ فَاِذَا هُمۡ يَنۡظُرُوۡنَ ١٩
English translation (Pickthall)
There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold,

اِنَّ اِلٰهَكُمۡ لَوَاحِدٌؕ ٤
37:4Lo! thy Lord is surely One;
رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ الۡمَشَارِقِؕ ٥
37:5Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings.
اِنَّا زَيَّنَّا السَّمَآءَ الدُّنۡيَا بِزِيۡنَةِࣙ الۡكَوَاكِبِۙ ٦
37:6Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets;
وَحِفۡظًا مِّنۡ كُلِّ شَيۡطٰنٍ مَّارِدٍۚ ٧
37:7With security from every froward devil.
لَّا يَسَّمَّعُوۡنَ اِلَى الۡمَلَاِ الۡاَعۡلٰى وَيُقۡذَفُوۡنَ مِنۡ كُلِّ جَانِبٍۖ ٨
37:8They cannot listen to the Highest Chiefs for they are pelted from every side,
دُحُوۡرًاࣙ وَّلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ وَّاصِبٌۙ ٩
37:9Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment;
اِلَّا مَنۡ خَطِفَ الۡخَطۡفَةَ فَاَتۡبَعَهٗ شِهَابٌ ثَاقِبٌ ١٠
37:10Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame.
فَاسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ اَهُمۡ اَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا اَمۡ مَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَاؕ اِنَّا خَلَقۡنٰهُمۡ مِّنۡ طِيۡنٍ لَّازِبٍ ١١
37:11Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay.
بَلۡ عَجِبۡتَ وَيَسۡخَرُوۡنَ ١٢
37:12Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock
وَاِذَا ذُكِّرُوۡا لَا يَذۡكُرُوۡنَ ١٣
37:13And heed not when they are reminded,
وَاِذَا رَاَوۡا اٰيَةً يَّسۡتَسۡخِرُوۡنَ ١٤
37:14And seek to scoff when they behold a portent.
وَقَالُوۡۤا اِنۡ هٰذَاۤ اِلَّا سِحۡرٌ مُّبِيۡنٌ ۖۚ ١٥
37:15And they say: Lo! this is mere magic;
ءَاِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُـنَّا تُرَابًا وَّعِظَامًا ءَاِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوۡثُوۡنَۙ ١٦
37:16When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised (again)?
اَوَاٰبَآؤُنَا الۡاَوَّلُوۡنَؕ ١٧
37:17And our forefathers?
قُلۡ نَعَمۡ وَاَنۡـتُمۡ دٰخِرُوۡنَۚ ١٨
37:18Say (O Muhammad): Yea, in truth; and ye will be brought low.
فَاِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجۡرَةٌ وَّاحِدَةٌ فَاِذَا هُمۡ يَنۡظُرُوۡنَ ١٩
37:19There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold,
وَقَالُوۡا يٰوَيۡلَنَا هٰذَا يَوۡمُ الدِّيۡنِ ٢٠
37:20And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment.
هٰذَا يَوۡمُ الۡفَصۡلِ الَّذِىۡ كُنۡتُمۡ بِهٖ تُكَذِّبُوۡنَ ٢١
37:21This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny.
اُحۡشُرُوا الَّذِيۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا وَاَزۡوَاجَهُمۡ وَمَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡبُدُوۡنَۙ ٢٢
37:22(And it is said unto the angels): Assemble those who did wrong, together with their wives and what they used to worship
مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ فَاهۡدُوۡهُمۡ اِلٰى صِرَاطِ الۡجَحِيۡمِ ٢٣
37:23Instead of Allah, and lead them to the path to hell;
وَقِفُوۡهُمۡ اِنَّهُمۡ مَّسْـُٔـوۡلُوۡنَۙ ٢٤
37:24And stop them, for they must be questioned.
مَا لَـكُمۡ لَا تَنَاصَرُوۡنَ ٢٥
37:25What aileth you that ye help not one another?
بَلۡ هُمُ الۡيَوۡمَ مُسۡتَسۡلِمُوۡنَ ٢٦
37:26Nay, but this Day they make full submission.
وَاَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلٰى بَعۡضٍ يَّتَسَآءَلُوۡنَ ٢٧
37:27And some of them draw near unto others, mutually questioning.
قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّكُمۡ كُنۡتُمۡ تَاۡتُوۡنَنَا عَنِ الۡيَمِيۡنِ ٢٨
37:28They say: Lo! ye used to come unto us, imposing, (swearing that ye spoke the truth).
قَالُوۡا بَلْ لَّمۡ تَكُوۡنُوۡا مُؤۡمِنِيۡنَۚ ٢٩
37:29They answer: Nay, but ye (yourselves) were not believers.
