Surah As-Saaffat, Ayah 127 (37:127)
فَكَذَّبُوۡهُ فَاِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُوۡنَۙ ١٢٧
English translation (Pickthall)
But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom)
Page 451
وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِى الۡاٰخِرِيۡنَۖ ١٠٨
37:108And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation):
سَلٰمٌ عَلٰٓى اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ ١٠٩
37:109Peace be unto Abraham!
كَذٰ لِكَ نَجۡزِى الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ ١١٠
37:110Thus do We reward the good.
اِنَّهٗ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ ١١١
37:111Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves.
وَبَشَّرۡنٰهُ بِاِسۡحٰقَ نَبِيًّا مِّنَ الصّٰلِحِيۡنَ ١١٢
37:112And we gave him tidings of the birth of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous.
وَبٰرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ وَعَلٰٓى اِسۡحٰقَؕ وَ مِنۡ ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحۡسِنٌ وَّظَالِمٌ لِّنَفۡسِهٖ مُبِيۡنٌ ١١٣
37:113And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their seed are some who do good, and some who plainly wrong themselves.
وَلَقَدۡ مَنَنَّا عَلٰى مُوۡسٰى وَهٰرُوۡنَۚ ١١٤
37:114And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron,
وَنَجَّيۡنٰهُمَا وَقَوۡمَهُمَا مِنَ الۡكَرۡبِ الۡعَظِيۡمِۚ ١١٥
37:115And saved them and their people from the great distress,
وَنَصَرۡنٰهُمۡ فَكَانُوۡا هُمُ الۡغٰلِبِيۡنَۚ ١١٦
37:116And helped them so that they became the victors.
وَاٰتَيۡنٰهُمَا الۡكِتٰبَ الۡمُسۡتَبِيۡنَۚ ١١٧
37:117And We gave them the clear Scripture
وَهَدَيۡنٰهُمَا الصِّرَاطَ الۡمُسۡتَقِيۡمَۚ ١١٨
37:118And showed them the right path.
وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمَا فِى الۡاٰخِرِيۡنَۙ ١١٩
37:119And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation):
سَلٰمٌ عَلٰى مُوۡسٰى وَهٰرُوۡنَ ١٢٠
37:120Peace be unto Moses and Aaron!
اِنَّا كَذٰ لِكَ نَجۡزِى الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ ١٢١
37:121Lo! thus do We reward the good.
اِنَّهُمَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ ١٢٢
37:122Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves.
وَاِنَّ اِلۡيَاسَ لَمِنَ الۡمُرۡسَلِيۡنَؕ ١٢٣
37:123And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn),
اِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِهٖۤ اَلَا تَتَّقُوۡنَ ١٢٤
37:124When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)?
اَتَدۡعُوۡنَ بَعۡلًا وَّتَذَرُوۡنَ اَحۡسَنَ الۡخٰلِقِيۡنَۙ ١٢٥
37:125Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the best of creators,
اللّٰهَ رَبَّكُمۡ وَرَبَّ اٰبَآٮِٕكُمُ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ ١٢٦
37:126Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?
فَكَذَّبُوۡهُ فَاِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُوۡنَۙ ١٢٧
37:127But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom)
اِلَّا عِبَادَ اللّٰهِ الۡمُخۡلَصِيۡنَ ١٢٨
37:128Save single-minded slaves of Allah.
وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِى الۡاٰخِرِيۡنَۙ ١٢٩
37:129And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation):
سَلٰمٌ عَلٰٓى اِلۡ يَاسِيۡنَ ١٣٠
37:130Peace be unto Elias!
اِنَّا كَذٰ لِكَ نَجۡزِى الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ ١٣١
37:131Lo! thus do We reward the good.
اِنَّهٗ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ ١٣٢
37:132Lo! he is one of our believing slaves.
وَاِنَّ لُوۡطًا لَّمِنَ الۡمُرۡسَلِيۡنَؕ ١٣٣
37:133And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn).
