Surah Ya-Seen, Ayah 78 (36:78)
وَضَرَبَ لَـنَا مَثَلًا وَّ نَسِىَ خَلۡقَهٗؕ قَالَ مَنۡ يُّحۡىِ الۡعِظَامَ وَهِىَ رَمِيۡمٌ ٧٨
English translation (Pickthall)
And he hath coined for Us a similitude, and hath forgotten the fact of his creation, saying: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away?

اَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡا اَنَّا خَلَقۡنَا لَهُمۡ مِّمَّا عَمِلَتۡ اَيۡدِيۡنَاۤ اَنۡعَامًا فَهُمۡ لَهَا مٰلِكُوۡنَ ٧١
36:71Have they not seen how We have created for them of Our handiwork the cattle, so that they are their owners,
وَذَلَّـلۡنٰهَا لَهُمۡ فَمِنۡهَا رَكُوۡبُهُمۡ وَمِنۡهَا يَاۡكُلُوۡنَ ٧٢
36:72And have subdued them unto them, so that some of them they have for riding, some for food?
وَلَهُمۡ فِيۡهَا مَنَافِعُ وَمَشَارِبُؕ اَفَلَا يَشۡكُرُوۡنَ ٧٣
36:73Benefits and (diverse) drinks have they from them. Will they not then give thanks?
وَاتَّخَذُوۡا مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ اٰلِهَةً لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يُنۡصَرُوۡنَؕ ٧٤
36:74And they have taken (other) gods beside Allah, in order that they may be helped.
لَا يَسۡتَطِيۡعُوۡنَ نَصۡرَهُمۡۙ وَهُمۡ لَهُمۡ جُنۡدٌ مُّحۡضَرُوۡنَ ٧٥
36:75It is not in their power to help them; but they (the worshippers) are unto them a host in arms.
فَلَا يَحۡزُنۡكَ قَوۡلُهُمۡۘ اِنَّا نَـعۡلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّوۡنَ وَمَا يُعۡلِنُوۡنَ ٧٦
36:76So let not their speech grieve thee (O Muhammad). Lo! We know what they conceal and what proclaim.
اَوَلَمۡ يَرَ الۡاِنۡسَانُ اَنَّا خَلَقۡنٰهُ مِنۡ نُّطۡفَةٍ فَاِذَا هُوَ خَصِيۡمٌ مُّبِيۡنٌ ٧٧
36:77Hath not man seen that We have created him from a drop of seed? Yet lo! he is an open opponent.
وَضَرَبَ لَـنَا مَثَلًا وَّ نَسِىَ خَلۡقَهٗؕ قَالَ مَنۡ يُّحۡىِ الۡعِظَامَ وَهِىَ رَمِيۡمٌ ٧٨
36:78And he hath coined for Us a similitude, and hath forgotten the fact of his creation, saying: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away?
قُلۡ يُحۡيِيۡهَا الَّذِىۡۤ اَنۡشَاَهَاۤ اَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ ؕ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلۡقٍ عَلِيۡمُࣙۙ ٧٩
36:79Say: He will revive them Who produced them at the first, for He is Knower of every creation,
الَّذِىۡ جَعَلَ لَـكُمۡ مِّنَ الشَّجَرِ الۡاَخۡضَرِ نَارًا فَاِذَاۤ اَنۡـتُمۡ مِّنۡهُ تُوۡقِدُوۡنَ ٨٠
36:80Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it.
اَوَلَيۡسَ الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ بِقٰدِرٍ عَلٰٓى اَنۡ يَّخۡلُقَ مِثۡلَهُمۡؔؕ بَلٰی وَهُوَ الۡخَـلّٰقُ الۡعَلِيۡمُ ٨١
36:81Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Aye, that He is! for He is the All-Wise Creator,
اِنَّمَاۤ اَمۡرُهٗۤ اِذَاۤ اَرَادَ شَیْـًٔـا اَنۡ يَّقُوۡلَ لَهٗ كُنۡ فَيَكُوۡنُ ٨٢
36:82But His command, when He intendeth a thing, is only that he saith unto it: Be! and it is.
فَسُبۡحٰنَ الَّذِىۡ بِيَدِهٖ مَلَـكُوۡتُ كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ وَّاِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُوۡنَ ٨٣
36:83Therefor glory be to Him in Whose hand is the dominion over all things! Unto Him ye will be brought back.
وَالصّٰٓفّٰتِ صَفًّاۙ ١
37:1By those who set the ranks in battle order
فَالزّٰجِرٰتِ زَجۡرًاۙ ٢
37:2And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof
فَالتّٰلِيٰتِ ذِكۡرًاۙ ٣
37:3And those who read (the Word) for a reminder,
