Surah Al-Shuara, Ayah 190 (26:190)
اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰ لِكَ لَاٰيَةً ؕ وَمَا كَانَ اَكۡثَرُهُمۡ مُّؤۡمِنِيۡنَ ١٩٠
English translation (Pickthall)
Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers.

اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰ لِكَ لَاٰيَةً ؕ وَمَا كَانَ اَكۡثَرُهُمۡ مُّؤۡمِنِيۡنَ ١٩٠
26:190Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers.
وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الرَّحِيۡمُ ١٩١
26:191And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful.
وَاِنَّهٗ لَـتَنۡزِيۡلُ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَؕ ١٩٢
26:192And lo! it is a revelation of the Lord of the Worlds,
نَزَلَ بِهِ الرُّوۡحُ الۡاَمِيۡنُۙ ١٩٣
26:193Which the True Spirit hath brought down
عَلٰى قَلۡبِكَ لِتَكُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡمُنۡذِرِيۡنَۙ ١٩٤
26:194Upon thy heart, that thou mayst be (one) of the warners,
بِلِسَانٍ عَرَبِىٍّ مُّبِيۡنٍؕ ١٩٥
26:195In plain Arabic speech.
وَاِنَّهٗ لَفِىۡ زُبُرِ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ ١٩٦
26:196And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old.
اَوَلَمۡ يَكُنۡ لَّهُمۡ اٰيَةً اَنۡ يَّعۡلَمَهٗ عُلَمٰٓؤُا بَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَؕ ١٩٧
26:197Is it not a token for them that the doctors of the Children of Israel know it?
وَلَوۡ نَزَّلۡنٰهُ عَلٰى بَعۡضِ الۡاَعۡجَمِيۡنَۙ ١٩٨
26:198And if We had revealed it unto one of any other nation than the Arabs,
فَقَرَاَهٗ عَلَيۡهِمۡ مَّا كَانُوۡا بِهٖ مُؤۡمِنِيۡنَؕ ١٩٩
26:199And he had read it unto them, they would not have believed in it.
كَذٰ لِكَ سَلَكۡنٰهُ فِىۡ قُلُوۡبِ الۡمُجۡرِمِيۡنَؕ ٢٠٠
26:200Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty.
لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِهٖ حَتّٰى يَرَوُا الۡعَذَابَ الۡاَلِيۡمَۙ ٢٠١
26:201They will not believe in it till they behold the painful doom,
فَيَاۡتِيَهُمۡ بَغۡتَةً وَّهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُوۡنَۙ ٢٠٢
26:202So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not.
فَيَـقُوۡلُوۡا هَلۡ نَحۡنُ مُنۡظَرُوۡنَؕ ٢٠٣
26:203Then they will say: Are we to be reprieved?
اَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنَ ٢٠٤
26:204Would they (now) hasten on Our doom?
اَفَرَءَيۡتَ اِنۡ مَّتَّعۡنٰهُمۡ سِنِيۡنَۙ ٢٠٥
26:205Hast thou then seen, if We content them for (long) years,
ثُمَّ جَآءَهُمۡ مَّا كَانُوۡا يُوۡعَدُوۡنَۙ ٢٠٦
26:206And then cometh that which they were promised,
مَاۤ اَغۡنٰى عَنۡهُمۡ مَّا كَانُوۡا يُمَتَّعُوۡنَؕ ٢٠٧
26:207(How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them?
وَمَاۤ اَهۡلَكۡنَا مِنۡ قَرۡيَةٍ اِلَّا لَهَا مُنۡذِرُوۡنَۛۖ ٢٠٨
26:208And We destroyed no township but it had its warners
ذِكۡرٰىۛ وَمَا كُنَّا ظٰلِمِيۡنَ ٢٠٩
26:209For reminder, for We never were oppressors.
وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتۡ بِهِ الشَّيٰطِيۡنُ ٢١٠
26:210The devils did not bring it down.
وَمَا يَنۡۢبَغِىۡ لَهُمۡ وَمَا يَسۡتَطِيۡعُوۡنَؕ ٢١١
26:211It is not meet for them, nor is it in their power,
اِنَّهُمۡ عَنِ السَّمۡعِ لَمَعۡزُوۡلُوۡنَؕ ٢١٢
26:212Lo! verily they are banished from the hearing.
فَلَا تَدۡعُ مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهًا اٰخَرَ فَتَكُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡمُعَذَّبِيۡنَۚ ٢١٣
26:213Therefor invoke not with Allah another god, lest thou be one of the doomed.
وَاَنۡذِرۡ عَشِيۡرَتَكَ الۡاَقۡرَبِيۡنَۙ ٢١٤
26:214And warn thy tribe of near kindred,
وَاخۡفِضۡ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَۚ ٢١٥
26:215And lower thy wing (in kindness) unto those believers who follow thee.
