Surah Al-Mumenoon, Ayah 95 (23:95)
وَاِنَّا عَلٰٓى اَنۡ نُّرِيَكَ مَا نَعِدُهُمۡ لَقٰدِرُوۡنَ ٩٥
English translation (Pickthall)
And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them.
Page 349
بَلۡ اَتَيۡنٰهُمۡ بِالۡحَـقِّ وَاِنَّهُمۡ لَكٰذِبُوۡنَ ٩٠
23:90Nay, but We have brought them the Truth, and lo! they are liars.
مَا اتَّخَذَ اللّٰهُ مِنۡ وَّلَدٍ وَّمَا كَانَ مَعَهٗ مِنۡ اِلٰهٍ اِذًا لَّذَهَبَ كُلُّ اِلٰهٍۢ بِمَا خَلَقَ وَلَعَلَا بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلٰى بَعۡضٍؕ سُبۡحٰنَ اللّٰهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُوۡنَۙ ٩١
23:91Allah hath not chosen any son, nor is there any God along with Him; else would each God have assuredly championed that which he created, and some of them would assuredly have overcome others. Glorified be Allah above all that they allege.
عٰلِمِ الۡغَيۡبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَتَعٰلٰى عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُوۡنَ ٩٢
23:92Knower of the Invisible and the Visible! and Exalted be He over all that they ascribe as partners (unto Him)!
قُل رَّبِّ اِمَّا تُرِيَنِّىۡ مَا يُوۡعَدُوۡنَۙ ٩٣
23:93Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised.
رَبِّ فَلَا تَجۡعَلۡنِىۡ فِى الۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ ٩٤
23:94My Lord! then set me not among the wrongdoing folk.
وَاِنَّا عَلٰٓى اَنۡ نُّرِيَكَ مَا نَعِدُهُمۡ لَقٰدِرُوۡنَ ٩٥
23:95And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them.
اِدۡفَعۡ بِالَّتِىۡ هِىَ اَحۡسَنُ السَّيِّئَةَؕ نَحۡنُ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يَصِفُوۡنَ ٩٦
23:96Repel evil with that which is better. We are best aware of that which they allege.
وَقُلْ رَّبِّ اَعُوۡذُ بِكَ مِنۡ هَمَزٰتِ الشَّيٰطِيۡنِۙ ٩٧
23:97And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones,
وَاَعُوۡذُ بِكَ رَبِّ اَنۡ يَّحۡضُرُوۡنِ ٩٨
23:98And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me,
حَتّٰٓى اِذَا جَآءَ اَحَدَهُمُ الۡمَوۡتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ارۡجِعُوۡنِۙ ٩٩
23:99Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back,
لَعَلِّىۡۤ اَعۡمَلُ صَالِحًـا فِيۡمَا تَرَكۡتُؕ كَلَّا ؕ اِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَآٮِٕلُهَاؕ وَمِنۡ وَّرَآٮِٕهِمۡ بَرۡزَخٌ اِلٰى يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُوۡنَ ١٠٠
23:100That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised.
فَاِذَا نُفِخَ فِى الصُّوۡرِ فَلَاۤ اَنۡسَابَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ وَّلَا يَتَسَآءَلُوۡنَ ١٠١
23:101And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another.
فَمَنۡ ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَازِيۡنُهٗ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الۡمُفۡلِحُوۡنَ ١٠٢
23:102Then those whose scales are heavy, they are the successful.
وَمَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَازِيۡنُهٗ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الَّذِيۡنَ خَسِرُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَهُمۡ فِىۡ جَهَـنَّمَ خٰلِدُوۡنَۚ ١٠٣
23:103And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding.
تَلۡفَحُ وُجُوۡهَهُمُ النَّارُ وَهُمۡ فِيۡهَا كٰلِحُوۡنَ ١٠٤
23:104The fire burneth their faces, and they are glum therein.
