Surah Al-Mumenoon, Ayah 89 (23:89)
سَيَقُوۡلُوۡنَ لِلّٰهِؕ قُلۡ فَاَنّٰى تُسۡحَرُوۡنَ ٨٩
English translation (Pickthall)
They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched?

وَلَوۡ رَحِمۡنٰهُمۡ وَكَشَفۡنَا مَا بِهِمۡ مِّنۡ ضُرٍّ لَّـلَجُّوۡا فِىۡ طُغۡيَانِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُوۡنَ ٧٥
23:75Though We had mercy on them and relieved them of the harm afflicting them, they still would wander blindly on in their contumacy.
وَلَقَدۡ اَخَذۡنٰهُمۡ بِالۡعَذَابِ فَمَا اسۡتَكَانُوۡا لِرَبِّهِمۡ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُوۡنَ ٧٦
23:76Already have We grasped them with punishment, but they humble not themselves unto their Lord, nor do they pray,
حَتّٰٓى اِذَا فَتَحۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ بَابًا ذَا عَذَابٍ شَدِيۡدٍ اِذَا هُمۡ فِيۡهِ مُبۡلِسُوۡنَ ٧٧
23:77Until, when We open for them the gate of extreme punishment, behold! they are aghast thereat.
وَهُوَ الَّذِىۡۤ اَنۡشَاَ لَـكُمُ السَّمۡعَ وَالۡاَبۡصَارَ وَالۡاَفۡـِٕدَةَؕ قَلِيۡلًا مَّا تَشۡكُرُوۡنَ ٧٨
23:78He it is Who hath created for you ears and eyes and hearts. Small thanks give ye!
وَهُوَ الَّذِىۡ ذَرَاَكُمۡ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ وَاِلَيۡهِ تُحۡشَرُوۡنَ ٧٩
23:79And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered.
وَهُوَ الَّذِىۡ يُحۡىٖ وَيُمِيۡتُ وَلَـهُ اخۡتِلَافُ الَّيۡلِ وَالنَّهَارِؕ اَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ ٨٠
23:80And He it is Who giveth life and causeth death, and His is the difference of night and day. Have ye then no sense?
بَلۡ قَالُوۡا مِثۡلَ مَا قَالَ الۡاَوَّلُوۡنَ ٨١
23:81Nay, but they say the like of that which said the men of old;
قَالُوۡۤا ءَاِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَّ عِظَامًا ءَاِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوۡثُوۡنَ ٨٢
23:82They say: When we are dead and have become (mere) dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again?
لَـقَدۡ وُعِدۡنَا نَحۡنُ وَاٰبَآؤُنَا هٰذَا مِنۡ قَبۡلُ اِنۡ هٰذَاۤ اِلَّاۤ اَسَاطِيۡرُ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ ٨٣
23:83We were already promised this, we and our forefathers. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old.
قُلْ لِّمَنِ الۡاَرۡضُ وَمَنۡ فِيۡهَاۤ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ٨٤
23:84Say: Unto Whom (belongeth) the earth and whosoever is therein, if ye have knowledge?
سَيَقُوۡلُوۡنَ لِلّٰهِؕ قُلۡ اَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُوۡنَ ٨٥
23:85They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember?
قُلۡ مَنۡ رَّبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ السَّبۡعِ وَرَبُّ الۡعَرۡشِ الۡعَظِيۡمِ ٨٦
23:86Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne?
سَيَقُوۡلُوۡنَ لِلّٰهِؕ قُلۡ اَفَلَا تَتَّقُوۡنَ ٨٧
23:87They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)?
قُلۡ مَنۡۢ بِيَدِهٖ مَلَكُوۡتُ كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ وَّهُوَ يُجِيۡرُ وَلَا يُجَارُ عَلَيۡهِ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ٨٨
23:88Say: In Whose hand is the dominion over all things and He protecteth, while against Him there is no protection, if ye have knowledge?

23:89They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched?
