Surah Al-Fil, Ayah 2 (105:2)
اَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِىۡ تَضۡلِيۡلٍۙ ٢
English translation (Pickthall)
Did He not bring their stratagem to naught,

وَالۡعَصۡرِۙ ١
103:1By the declining day,
اِنَّ الۡاِنۡسَانَ لَفِىۡ خُسۡرٍۙ ٢
103:2Lo! man is a state of loss,
اِلَّا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوۡا بِالۡحَقِّࣙۙ وَتَوَاصَوۡا بِالصَّبۡرِ ٣
103:3Save those who believe and do good works, and exhort one another to truth and exhort one another to endurance.
وَيۡلٌ لِّـكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةِࣙۙ ١
104:1Woe unto every slandering traducer,
الَّذِىۡ جَمَعَ مَالًا وَّعَدَّدَهٗۙ ٢
104:2Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it.
يَحۡسَبُ اَنَّ مَالَهٗۤ اَخۡلَدَهٗۚ ٣
104:3He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal.
كَلَّا لَيُنۡۢبَذَنَّ فِى الۡحُطَمَةِۖ ٤
104:4Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One.
وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا الۡحُطَمَةُؕ ٥
104:5Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is!
نَارُ اللّٰهِ الۡمُوۡقَدَةُۙ ٦
104:6(It is) the fire of Allah, kindled,
الَّتِىۡ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الۡاَفۡـــِٕدَةِؕ ٧
104:7Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men).
اِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ مُّؤۡصَدَةٌ ۙ ٨
104:8Lo! it is closed in on them
فِىۡ عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍ ٩
104:9In outstretched columns.
اَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِاَصۡحٰبِ الۡفِيۡلِؕ ١
105:1Hast thou not seen how thy Lord dealt with the owners of the Elephant?
اَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِىۡ تَضۡلِيۡلٍۙ ٢
105:2Did He not bring their stratagem to naught,
وَّاَرۡسَلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ طَيۡرًا اَبَابِيۡلَۙ ٣
105:3And send against them swarms of flying creatures,
تَرۡمِيۡهِمۡ بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّنۡ سِجِّيۡلٍۙ ٤
105:4Which pelted them with stones of baked clay,
فَجَعَلَهُمۡ كَعَصۡفٍ مَّاۡكُوۡلٍ ٥
105:5And made them like green crops devoured (by cattle)?
