Surah Al-Adiyat (العَادیَات)

Ayat 1–11
وَالۡعٰدِيٰتِ ضَبۡحًاۙ ١
100:1By the snorting coursers,
فَالۡمُوۡرِيٰتِ قَدۡحًاۙ ٢
100:2Striking sparks of fire
فَالۡمُغِيۡرٰتِ صُبۡحًاۙ ٣
100:3And scouring to the raid at dawn,
فَاَثَرۡنَ بِهٖ نَقۡعًاۙ ٤
100:4Then, therewith, with their trail of dust,
فَوَسَطۡنَ بِهٖ جَمۡعًاۙ ٥
100:5Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe),
اِنَّ الۡاِنۡسَانَ لِرَبِّهٖ لَـكَنُوۡدٌۚ ٦
100:6Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord
وَاِنَّهٗ عَلٰى ذٰ لِكَ لَشَهِيۡدٌۚ ٧
100:7And lo! he is a witness unto that;
وَاِنَّهٗ لِحُبِّ الۡخَيۡرِ لَشَدِيۡدٌؕ ٨
100:8And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent.
اَفَلَا يَعۡلَمُ اِذَا بُعۡثِرَ مَا فِى الۡقُبُوۡرِۙ ٩
100:9Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى الصُّدُوۡرِۙ ١٠
100:10And the secrets of the breasts are made known,
اِنَّ رَبَّهُمۡ بِهِمۡ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لَّخَبِيۡرٌ ١١
100:11On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them.
