مَا تَسۡبِقُ مِنۡ اُمَّةٍ اَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسۡتَـاۡخِرُوۡنَؕ ۝٤٣

23:43No nation can outstrip its term, nor yet postpone it.

ثُمَّ اَرۡسَلۡنَا رُسُلَنَا تَتۡـرَاؕ كُلَّ مَا جَآءَ اُمَّةً رَّسُوۡلُهَا كَذَّبُوۡهُ فَاَتۡبَـعۡنَا بَعۡـضَهُمۡ بَعۡـضًا وَّجَعَلۡنٰهُمۡ اَحَادِيۡثَۚ فَبُـعۡدًا لِّـقَوۡمٍ لَّا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ۝٤٤

23:44Then We sent our messengers one after another. Whenever its messenger came unto a nation they denied him; so We caused them to follow one another (to disaster) and We made them bywords. A far removal for folk who believe not!

ثُمَّ اَرۡسَلۡنَا مُوۡسٰى وَاَخَاهُ هٰرُوۡنَࣙۙ بِاٰيٰتِنَا وَسُلۡطٰنٍ مُّبِيۡنٍۙ ۝٤٥

23:45Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our tokens and a clear warrant

اِلٰى فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَمَلَا۟ٮِٕهٖ فَاسۡتَكۡبَرُوۡا وَكَانُوۡا قَوۡمًا عٰلِيۡنَۚ ۝٤٦

23:46Unto Pharaoh and his chiefs, but they scorned (them) and they were despotic folk.

فَقَالُـوۡۤا اَنُؤۡمِنُ لِبَشَرَيۡنِ مِثۡلِنَا وَقَوۡمُهُمَا لَـنَا عٰبِدُوۡنَۚ ۝٤٧

23:47And they said: Shall we put faith in two mortals like ourselves, and whose folk are servile unto us?

فَكَذَّبُوۡهُمَا فَكَانُوۡا مِنَ الۡمُهۡلَـكِيۡنَ ۝٤٨

23:48So they denied them, and became of those who were destroyed.

وَلَـقَدۡ اٰتَيۡنَا مُوۡسَى الۡـكِتٰبَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَهۡتَدُوۡنَ ۝٤٩

23:49And We verily gave Moses the Scripture, that haply they might go aright.

وَجَعَلۡنَا ابۡنَ مَرۡيَمَ وَاُمَّهٗۤ اٰيَةً وَّاٰوَيۡنٰهُمَاۤ اِلٰى رَبۡوَةٍ ذَاتِ قَرَارٍ وَّمَعِيۡنٍ ۝٥٠

23:50And We made the son of Mary and his mother a portent, and We gave them refuge on a height, a place of flocks and watersprings.

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الرُّسُلُ كُلُوۡا مِنَ الطَّيِّبٰتِ وَاعۡمَلُوْا صَالِحًـا ؕ اِنِّىۡ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ عَلِيۡمٌؕ ۝٥١

23:51O ye messengers! Eat of the good things, and do right. Lo! I am Aware of what ye do.

وَاِنَّ هٰذِهٖۤ اُمَّتُكُمۡ اُمَّةً وَّاحِدَةً وَّاَنَا رَبُّكُمۡ فَاتَّقُوۡنِ ۝٥٢

23:52And lo! this your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, so keep your duty unto Me.

فَتَقَطَّعُوۡۤا اَمۡرَهُمۡ بَيۡنَهُمۡ زُبُرًاؕ كُلُّ حِزۡبٍۢ بِمَا لَدَيۡهِمۡ فَرِحُوۡنَ ۝٥٣

23:53But they (mankind) have broken their religion among them into sects, each sect rejoicing in its tenets.

فَذَرۡهُمۡ فِىۡ غَمۡرَتِهِمۡ حَتّٰى حِيۡنٍ ۝٥٤

23:54So leave them in their error till a time.

اَيَحۡسَبُوۡنَ اَنَّمَا نُمِدُّهُمۡ بِهٖ مِنۡ مَّالٍ وَّبَنِيۡنَۙ ۝٥٥

23:55Think they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We provide them

نُسَارِعُ لَهُمۡ فِى الۡخَيۡـرٰتِؕ بَلْ لَّا يَشۡعُرُوۡنَ ۝٥٦

23:56We hasten unto them with good things? Nay, but they perceive not.

اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ هُمۡ مِّنۡ خَشۡيَةِ رَبِّهِمۡ مُّشۡفِقُوۡنَۙ ۝٥٧

23:57Lo! those who go in awe for fear of their Lord.

وَالَّذِيۡنَ هُمۡ بِاٰيٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَۙ ۝٥٨

23:58And those who believe in the revelations of their Lord,
